    Oak Ridge Institute for Science and Education (ORISE) is a U.S. Department of Energy contractor focusing on scientific initiatives to research health risks, medical technology, assess environmental cleanup, respond to radiation medical emergencies, support national security and emergency preparedness, and educate the next generation of scientists. Paid internship assignments are offered throughout the year at various federal facilities across the U.S. and Europe. This program is intended to enhance the students’ educational development by providing practical research experiences closely related to their academic pursuits.
