I'm the "go-to-guy" when a business-owner or other "consultant" is simply out of options. When the mess is unbearable. When there's so much going on that no one seems to know where to start. I come in and I make order where there was chaos. ABOUT YOU: YOU ARE ENERGETIC, RELIABLE, AND MOTIVATED. YOU HAVE A BRAIN. I have no patience for stupidity - again, no offense. YOU ARE SELF-MOTIVATED. YOU ARE ORGANIZED, FOCUSED AND WORK WELL UNDER PRESSURE. One thing I will assure you of - You will walk out of here with an understanding and experience that is virtually non-existent among your peers. You will learn how to see and how to think. You will be adaptive and creative in evaluating practically any business/bookkeeping situation. You will understand what resources are at your disposal and how to use these tools in concert with one and other to get the job done. You will be excellent. REQUIRMENTS - The attitude described above. A background in accounting or bookkeeping - academic or other, is preferred. You understand the basic concepts - chart of accounts, financial statements, a/p's, a/r's, etc. You know what money is. You're available to work as needed - no excuses. LASTLY - The work environment is a combination of: My house - an ongoing “construction site” (I’m being nice here). If you expect to sit at a fancy Ikea desk resting your feet on plush carpeting in an air conditioned room - get a job with Citibank, this isn’t your calling. The client’s place of business - No idea what work conditions are like, it varies from job to job - roll your own dice. COMPENSATION - You will 10 days for free - this is a trial period. If you last through the trial then you will get paid $10/hr (retroactively from day-1 and thereafter).
