    Executive Director's Personal Assistant

    Organization Description: A Helping Hand is a non-profit organization established in 1995 in order to serve the elderly and disabled population, regardless of income. We provide in-home, non-medical services such as companionship, transportation, respite, errands, meal preparation, household organization, etc. Internship Details: A Helping Hand is now recruiting a personal assistant for our Executive Director. Work side-by-side with the leader of a growing non-profit. Receive hands on experience writing grants, developing programs, exploring new funding avenues, increasing volunteer numbers, working with a board of directors, networking with for-profit businesses and more. Internship Responsibilities: -Assist with marketing and development -Volunteer recruitment -Grant research and writing -Community presentations -Represent the organization at networking events -Clerical duties such as correspondence -Conduct sensitivity trainings -Assist with volunteer recognition
