This position offers the opportunity to develop leadership and financial skills in a professional environment. An MPS Intern would work closely with business professionals and have an enriching, hands-on learning experience. What would a Market Research Intern Do? Below are some of the responsibilities of a Market Research Intern at MPS: • Market Research and Reporting. Our Research areas include: Secondary Perspective on Industries, Secondary Perspective on Fund Sectors, Secondary Trends for Limited Partners, Secondary Trends for General Partners, Venture Capital, Private Equity, Buyout, Distressed Debt and M&A among many • Assist with the process of M&A, Raise private equity, Debt Formation\Bank Finance, Strategic Planning, and Financial Restructuring. • General Office Intern Requirements: • Contribute a minimum of 16 hours per week for 16 weeks • Be trustworthy- Confidentiality is very important • Proficiency with the components of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) • Proficiency with Internet search strategies • Commitment to leadership • Fast and accurate data processing • Confident and professional communication, both orally and written • Should be detail-oriented and able to prioritize • Must learn to work as a team • Instructor Approval for Credit at the end is optional INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ARE WELCOMED
