    We are a music artist management and entertainment consulting firm that has very strong ties within the music industry. Our internship provides a perfect entry-level opportunity for individuals seeking a position in the extremely competitive marketplace of the music world. Brick Wall Management is also the headquarters for The Kristen Ann Carr Fund, which provides grants for cancer research and seeks to improve all aspects of cancer patient life with an emphasis on adolescents and young adults. The fund has sparked the interest of such names as Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and Shania Twain. Aside from our management and not-for-profit work, we here at Brick Wall provide consulting to other management firms and entertainment entities. Consulting work in the past has included the handling of all VIP ticketing/credentials for the 1999-2000 Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band World Tour. We also consult for the artist advocacy and development website, StarPolish.

    Online Communications Intern - Fall 2009

    NARAL Pro-Choice America is looking for a committed and responsible pro-choice individual for the Online Communications Intern position for summer 2009. The Communications Intern will work with the Communications team to support NARAL Pro-Choice America’s online outreach. This internship is a paid position open in mid-August. Position description: This internship is an excellent opportunity to learn about online advocacy—a grassroots organizing tool that is crucial to successful educational, legislative, and political campaigns. The intern will be responsible for: • Managing the Choice Action Network (CAN) e-mail inbox and responding to questions from CAN members. The CAN email list is used to send actions and information to pro-choice Americans across the country. • Assist with data maintenance including data entry, reviewing lists of new sign-ups, and updating activist contact information • Assisting with recruitment on online social networking sites (Facebook, MySpace, Change.org, etc.) • Assisting with blog and press-related tracking, and other communication duties as needed Qualifications: The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, organized, and efficient with strong computer and people skills. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is a must. General office experience is helpful. Familiarity with social networking sites such as Facebook and MySpace preferred. Database and HTML experience a plus. The intern should have a strong interest in political advocacy and reproductive rights work.
