    Wyndham Championship

The Wyndham Championship, formerly the Chrysler Classic of Greensboro and Greater Greensboro Open, is one of the oldest tournaments on the PGA TOUR, dating back to 1938. It is the largest professional sporting event in the Piedmont, and will donate over $1 million to local/state charities in 2007. As the final FedExCup regular season event, the tournament has now taken on new importance for players to secure their seeding in the newly formed PGA TOUR playoffs for the FedEx Cup.
