A small, women-owned business is looking for a student who is interested in retail/sales to help place its products into baby stores and specialty/gift shops locally and nationally. Job includes research on the baby accessory marketplace and working to discover niche markets for Go Baby products. We are looking for creativity in helping to design a sales strategy with a list of both local and national stores to pitch to, make first contact with store buyers and eventually go on sales pitches with owners. Student will help to create a list of potential partnerships to build stronger relationships with other mommy-owned businesses and expand the brand's reach and exposure. The student can also work on sales strategies for the e-commerce site www.gobaby.com The position allows for lots of opportunity to customize a project that makes best use of the student's strengths, interest and education. Go Baby is flexible with work hours; small stipend available.
