The Portland Sea Dogs, Class AA Eastern League Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, are seeking to hire ten interns for the 2008 baseball season. The Sea Dogs offer internships in the following areas: • Group Sales (2), • Ticket Office (2), • Sales & Promotions/ Stadium Operations (2), • Media Relations • Merchandising • Groun ds Crew (2) All interns regardless of what specific area they work in will receive a well-rounded look at the organization. All interns will be expected to cover the front desk, learn the ticket system, assist with on-field promotions, and much more. The Sea Dogs internship program is comprehensive as interns are treated as extensions of the full-time managerial staff. Additionally, interns are expected to start between the months of January and March and will be required to work through the end of the season (late August/ early September). As a result of the duration and responsibilities that our interns incur , we have a high job placement rate.
